Local Government

Local government is democracy exercised in our own communities. We elect councillors and mayors in the cities in which we live. It is important as city residents to know whether our local government is making decisions in the best interest of our communities. We can only do so if we understand the decision making process in our city councils. Local government functions best when it is connected to its grassroots.
